Well my foray into SWTOR is most likely at a definite end. It was fun while it lasted. I got to play with old friends and meet new ones that I plan to stay in contact with this time. However I am now without a game again, well at least until Guild Wars 2 and PlanetSide 2 come out. I tried messing about with other games but nothing really interesting, old or new. So here I am, back in good old EVE Online. No matter how many times I leave I always seem to find my way back into the cold dark place we call space.
Well it looks like Mercurial by Design is back down to just one member again, that would be just me. I logged in to find myself in a space station in a low-sec FW system owned by the Gallente. That would be all fine and dandy except for the fact that I am part of the Caldari State and involved in faction warfare. So I picked one of my ships to undock with knowing that I will have to leave the other ships behind for the time being. I set my destination to my level four missioning stopping grounds, also my home system. I have to say I really like the new visuals with all the stars and the warp affects. Halfway to my destination I pick a random direction and space and sent my Crow to full speed so I could spend the next 30 minutes or so configuring my Overview.
Now that I am back in my home system I need to start thinking about my next steps. I know I have always been very mercurial about my gaming hence the name; however this time I think I want some sort of direction. I am really leaning with sticking with FW, but first I need to leave FW. I know a little confusing but I have to get those assets that I left behind in the now Gallente controlled system. I will need to find a new place to stage that is not in a FW system to avoid this happening again. I should also find a ship or ship type to focus on, possibly recon ships.
